We are excited to share with our friends and family our recent formation of Kindred CRAFT (Creative Residence & Agro-ForesT) and would like to invite you to be our first participants! If you are thinking about how to help your students navigate the world they are growing into, and how to give them the tools to survive and thrive in a changing environment, we welcome you to join us in this transformational work in Fletcher, Vermont.

 

Join us for Seeding Kindred this August.  Let's have conversations around social, racial, and environmental justice and the role we, as artist/educators, play in uplifting the next generation of artist/activist leaders!  

 

We have beautiful outdoor spaces for plein air painting, abundant woods for crafting and sculpting with natural materials, and woods to explore for inspiration and contemplation. So, bring your travel easels, small tools, sketchbooks, and wisdom, to make art, grow food, and be the change we want to see in the world!

 

COSTS 

We offer an all-inclusive flat fee, per person.  Price includes breakfast, lunch, and a communal dinner for 4-days.  Onsite parking is available and limited; Carpooling is encouraged.

Dream House: $500 per person 

            Maximum Occupancy: 8 people in shared rooms

Yurt: $560 per person 

            Maximum Occupancy: 4 people in shared space 

3 Tent Platforms: $240 per person

            Maximum Occupancy: 2-3 per platform

Field: $200 per person

            Maximum Occupancy: 8 people

            Please bring your tent, sleeping bags, and towels if you will be camping in the Yurt, Tent Platforms, or Field.

 

This experience is designed to create access for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+, therefore we offer a sliding scale to those who need financial assistance.  Please complete the financial request section in the registration form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
